Shipping costs are calculated based on a fixed table and have been fairly accurate. Although we ship worldwide we may at our discretion request additional shipping fees if the products are being delivered in remote areas where our standard rates do not cover the actual transportation cost. In such case we will inform you by separate email before we ship the goods out to you. We ship exclusively with DHL Express for all on-line orders which are placed with RCLogger.Com directly (this does not include shipments to our distribution partners).

Should the item you receive be defective, RCLogger.Com offers an exchange program. Simply contact us within 7 days of delivery. Our staff will communicate with you to ensure you have a replacement as soon as possible.

Quality and safety is the number one concern. All our products are designed and produced according to safety standards of the European Union. Approvals have been issued and CE has been declared. If you which to obtain a copy of the approval documents please contact us via the contact form. Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Any usage other than described in the operating instructions is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly and keep them for further reference.

We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury if the product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper use or failure to observe the operating instructions. The warranty/guarantee will then expire! The icon with exclamation mark indicates important information in the operating instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions included with the product before operating the device, otherwise there is risk of danger.

Local pick up service is not available. Our goods are stored at our warehouse which is inaccessible to the public.

To view the GPS data of the GPS module in 2D or 3D the software uses the Google Earth API. The internet connection is required to check that the software uses a valid API key. Users do not need to enter the API key, it has been embedded into the software.

The required video codec is not available in your computer. Make sure to have at least one full installer (.msi file) version of the RC Logger Viewer installed. The full installer version includes all hardware drivers for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7 (32 bit only) and all required codec files as well as the required Google Earth plugin.

Yes, the GPS module is designed to work without performance loss even if mounted inside your canopy or R/C helicopter- or R/C airplane-body. Our GPS module uses a high quality GPS device to ensure best reception even under poor environmental conditions.

Yes, the RC Logger main unit and GPS module will also be made available without housing so users can custom mount it into an own housing or direct assemble it into a scale body. We will be announcing the availability accordingly.

Phase I development has been completed and it included the main unit and the GPS module. Phase II is under development and scheduled to be released by late 2010. Phase II will introduce several new add-on modules. Read our product pages for details. Phase III development has been defined as well, it will add a wireless data transmission module as well as other exciting modules which will be announced later in detail. Phase II modules can be used with phase I main unit.

Please check to ensure that the RC Logger is mounted firmly onto the R/C body. The lens adjustment screw should be tightened to avoid movement after lens angle is adjusted. Additional Hints: Place some dampening tape between the RC Logger and R/C body.

The triggering feature requires one (1) free port on the receiver. It does not matter which channel, but ideally it should be mapped to a 2-way or 3-way switch on the transmitter. It is possible to use a Y-splitter to share a channel but it is only recommended for users with advanced knowledge.

It is recommended to mount the RC Logger on a horizontal flat surface (etc. between the landing skids) . Ensure that it is not touching any moving parts, and is sufficiently distanced from any parts generating excess heat. Make sure to protect the RC Logger from strong vibrations since this may cause poor video performance. Use gyro mounting tape since it is specially designed to reduce the effects of vibration. The most likely reason is the video recording has not actually started. Before the recording, the user can ensure the recording has started by reading the notification LED. After each recording session, it is recommended that the device be switched to OFF mode before ejecting the SD card. This will ensure that the data will be saved properly.

It is recommended that you use our RC Logger Viewer software. The RC Logger Viewer is a powerful tool that can combine your recorded video, pictures and data. The media files can be played directly inside the software. If you have the GPS data from the GPS module, the path will be plotted into Google Earth so you can view the synchronized video and GPS position.

This indicates that the GPS module is unable to communicate with GPS satellites. For optimal performance, please ensure that the battery is fully charged on the RC Logger, and the device is operated in an open area.

This indicates that the GPS module is unable to communicate with GPS satellites or that the GPS module lost the communication link. It could also be related to the RC Logger being triggered too earlier before the receiving GPS signal has been stabilized. Make sure to follow the instructions provided in the Quick Start Guide.

It is recommended that the GPS module be mounted vertically, with the I/O ports facing downwards. The GPS should not be covered by any components or the body itself. This will provide the optimal GPS signal strength. If mounted inside a scale body or canopy the GPS module should however still function.

This is a normal behavior of the cameras device driver. Each time the driver detects an "activity" related to its hardware, in this case the RC Logger, it will prompt for an default action. You should cancel / ignore this dialogue box. Since this is a driver related behavior it is beyond our control. In fact, you only need to perform the RC Logger set-up the very first time and will not require any changes later unless it lost its internal settings (which is unlikely) or in the event that you need to change trigger values. The issue with the pop-up (this is a nature of the driver which we can't influence) has also been mentioned in one of our video tutorials.

Make sure that you are connected to the Internet. The software is trying to connect to the RCLogger.Com map server to load the required mapping tools. If you are behind a proxy server or firewall make sure to have set-up your Internet connection settings correctly which should include details on you proxy settings. Consult your network administrator for help.

The RC Logger must be switched to PC Mode for adjusting the settings. To toggle between mass storage mode and PC mode, press the shutter button. When the charging LED and low battery LED both lights up red, the RC Logger is in PC Mode.
