Firmware updates for RC Logger product family. Please read the "Firmware update" section of your products operating instructions user manual carefully before performing any firmware update. Incorrect firmware update procedure may render your product being unusable. Never interrupt the updating process.

Unzip the archive file and follow the firmware update procedure. This firmware package is designed for the OSD Module.

[Warning]
Do not use this firmware with any other hardware as it may render your product unusable.
Do not unplug the USB cable during the upgrade process.
Always remove the OSD module safely via your operation system before unplugging the cable. Otherwise the OSD module may be damaged.

[Firmware Update Procedure]

1. Unzip downloaded file to extract the “firmware.bin” file.
2. Make sure the OSD module is turned off by switching the ON OFF switch to OFF position.
3. Press and hold the FN button while connecting the OSD to a personal computer (PC) using the microUSB cable. No LED will light up.
4. Keep the FN button pressed until a new drive is shown on your computer.
5. Browse the drive, there is one “.bin” file only.
6. Delete the original “.bin” file.
7. Copy the newly downloaded “firmware.bin” file into the drive. Do not use the replace file function to update the file. Delete the old file first, then copy the new file into the drive.
8. Safely remove the device via your operating system before unplugging the cable.
9. Power on the OSD module again to take effect.

Unzip the archive file and follow the firmware update procedure. This firmware package has been designed for the RC Logger PRO.

Do not use this firmware with any other hardware as it may render your product unusable. Do not interrupt the update process since this may render the RC Logger PRO unusable.

[Firmware Update Procedure]

  1. Unzip download file and prepare firmware by renaming unzipped file to rclpro.bin.
    Copy the renamed file in the root directory of a SD card.
  2. Make sure the RC Logger PRO is switched off.
  3. Insert the SD card into the RC Logger PRO.
  4. Press and hold the shutter button and switch the “Off / Camera mode / Video mode switch" to either video or camera position.
  5. All three LED’s will blink in blue while the upgrade is processing. If no valid firmware file is detected all three LED’s will blink red.
  6. After the upgrade is finished successfully the RC Logger PRO will turn off.
  7. Turn off/on the RC Logger PRO.

[Firmware Update Procedure]

  1. Unzip/Unrar the firmware archive file and save it in the root directory of an empty SD card.
  2. Make sure the logger is turned off.
  3. Insert the prepared SD card into the RC Logger HD (see 1.).
  4. Press and hold the shutter button "S" and switch the “Off / Video mode / Camera mode / switch” to either "photo"or "video" position.
  5. Wait until the status LED goes off.
  6. Turn off the logger.

Unzip the archive file and follow the firmware update procedure. This firmware package has been designed for the 2.4 GHz Data RX LCD Monitor.

[Warning]
Do not use this firmware with any other hardware as it may render your product unusable. Do not interrupt the update process since this may render the 2.4 GHz Data RX LCD Monitor unusable.

[Firmware Update Procedure]

  1. Download the latest firmware update from “http://www.rclogger.com” to your personal computer. If its name is not “firmware.bin”, rename it.
  2. Make sure the RX LCD monitor is turned off.
  3. Insert the micro-USB plug of the cable into the micro-USB port on the RX LCD monitor.
  4. Insert the USB plug of the cable into a vacant port of the personal computer.
  5. Press and hold the button “>> / SET” and slide the power switch to “ON” position.
  6. The device will be recognised as a mass storage device. A file “firmware.bin” will be found inside.
  7. Delete the “firmware.bin” file.
  8. Store the new firmware file in the same directory from which you have deleted the old file.

    NOTE: Replacing the file on the device with files other than the official firmware release may damage the device.
     
  9. Safely remove the mass storage device from your computer.
  10. Disconnect the RX LCD monitor and slide the power button “ON/OFF” to “OFF” position again. Turn it on again after a few  seconds and the new firmware version is shown on the device information page.

Unzip the archive file and follow the firmware update procedure as explained in the RC Rogger LC operating instructions. This firmware package has been designed for the RC Logger LC.

Firmware update procedure:

Warning. Do not disconnect the connection to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the files in the internal memory can be damaged and the entire update process must be repeated.

  1. Make sure that the product is switched off.
  2. Press and hold down the “Trigger” button on the product.
  3. Connect the product to a computer via the USB cable. The product is detected as an external device.
  4. Release the “Trigger” button.
  5. Delete the “firmware.bin” file.
  6. Store the new firmware file in the same directory from which you have deleted the old file.
  7. Separate the product fully first via the operating system, and then by the USB cable.

- Added: Support IMU data and setting.
