Attention [Info] How to perform a range test with your stock transmitter?

Before you perform a flight with your stock transmitter you may want to check the transmitter's range at your preferred flying location. Please follow the instructions provided in the attached pdf-file and share your feedback and questions here concerning stock transmitter range testing.

Attached is the initial version "v01" of the range test procedure.

I did not perform the range test as described, but flying with the stock transmitter I have easily flown it past a measured distance of 400 feet several times. I have very good eyesight for distances, but much farther than 400 feet and it would be hard to determine orientation I think, at least for me.

Unofficially we also reached 600 feet I guess a lot depends on flying location and environmental conditions. 400 feet are 100% safe and tested under various scenarios though.
