Does anybody know if you can connect 2 batteries in parallel on the EOX?

Do you know if you can connect 2 batteries in parallel on the RC logger Eye One Xtreme to lengthen the air time?
Please share it with me and the community!

    erik,

Are you talking about 2 of the stock lipo's? They are two seperate one cell packs which are then joined at the connector/board to create 7.4v to power the unit.

RC-Connectors does make a cable that can take 2 JST connection lipo packs. Just remember a few things when purchasing:

-First using this will void warranty due to it being an aftermarket attachment

-Secondly, although more battery can lead to more flight time, it can also lead to less flight time as well. Meaning that you have to find the right balance of capacity of battery vs. extra weight. At some point the scales tip and the extra weight begins to hinder the flight time.

Here is a link to the Xtreme connectors (scroll down for the JST connectors):

Also please know I am in no way discouraging you from purchasing and using the adapter. I know many have and have had no issues. I just thought it was important to share those two points.

    Regards,

    Jamie

    Hi,
I am solving the same problem. Which connector can connect two of my battery packs 1150mAh Lipo battery-2x3.7V ?
I can recharge them separately, but planning to use them together with my drone EYE One Xtreme.
Am I correct with this connector:

    Thank you.

    Hi Martin,

That is not the correct connector for what you are trying to achieve. To be honest, you will not gain too much flight time by adding a second battery. Plus your performance will decrease. May just be best to simply switch batteries and continue flying.

    Adam

You could just get this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271804376...84.m1559.l2649

And run a standard plug 1300-1500mAh lipo.

Then you'll get 10-14min flying time without excess weight, as well as extra strength, etc

Redburnn you are correct as long as the correct adapter is used as mentioned above.

Welcome to the RC Logger forums!
