    I am back ! + I have some questions

    Hey there,

last year I was here often when I learned to fly with the EOX. Later I built my own quads with Naza FC BUT I always loved the design and concept of the NovaX. I heard about the ability to do waypoint/task flying with it, so I could not resist to get one of these. I will receive it in the next days, I already watched the instruction videos. But I still could not find out a out a possible offline use of the eyecontrol app. I am one of the few people still refusing to get a smartphone, but I have a tablet with Wifi connection. Will I be able to set tasks at home and save them ? I am not sure about the map function when being offline . Thanks in advance, Michael

    Hey Michael,

Great to see you back! Definitely think you are going to enjoy the NovaX 350. In regards to your question. It should be doable as long as you save the tasks/journey at home. You will need to find your location you will want to fly and setup all parameters, then save the journey. Then you can go to the location and used the app by uploading the previously saved journey.

This option should work for you.

Looking forward to hearing from you following your first flights with the NovaX 350.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

    Best regards,

Hey ! I received the NovaX today, but we have rain. -.- At least I did the calibration using the app.
I bought the NovaX 2nd hand and it needs some spares. Itīs hard to get the parts from Conrad Germany, I need a boom set (I only need the part where the boom is attached to the frame), one of them has a crack.
Is there any way to get one of these without paying $40 shipping for a $25 spare set ? Thanks in advance, Michael

    Hey Michael,

I will discuss with our team and see what we can do to offer you this replacement.

Please send me a private message with your full name, address, phone number and email.

    Thanks so much!

Also we are discussing with Conrad in Germany, why they aren't carrying the full line of parts, as they should have them on stock available.

    Hey Jamie,

I found a replacement - a complete new frame / arms / motors "bundle". I will transfer the parts from the broken unit to this frame and it should be like a new one. Iīll keep you updated. So I also have some spares left.
I hope there will be found a solution with CONRAD and the stock spareparts.

    Thanks, Michael

    Hey Michael,

great to hear that you were able to get what you need for now and hopefully will be good to go for a while. We will still make sure we update on the information regarding Conrad and the parts stock.

    Enjoy!

I did some test flights today, she felt a little shaky when hovering, we had wind today. My first impression : THAT THING IS POWERFUL !

    Hey Michael,

Thanks so much for sharing. In regards to the shaking when you first take off, a good suggestion is to wait until the front/rear LED notification goes from flashing to solid. When solid it indicates that you have a solid GPS lock. Taking off before then can result in the unit shifting around as noted in the beginning of the video, since it hasn't yet achieved optimal GPS lock.

Hope you are enjoying flying the NovaX 350. Looking forward to more videos.
